Item Info[]
Zombrex is a… controversial drug which is taken by those infected with the zombie virus in order to slow down their transformation into a zombie. It was created by Isabela Keyes after she escaped Willamette with the help of Frank West. The original version would only stave off the zombification process for 12 hours but further development produced a 24 hour variant. These were both eventually replaced with new GPS chips that were implanted in the bodies of the infected which were supposed to give the infected a new dose of Zombrex every 24 hours as well as provided the GPS coordinates of the infected just in case the Zombrex didn’t prevent them from becoming a zombie and they needed to be killed.
Item Usage[]
Zombrex appears on the stage inside of a little box and when fighters interact with it they’ll take the injection pen out of the box and immediately inject it into their arm. Once Zombrex has been injected into the fighter’s system, they’ll be protected from any and all negative status effects for the next 24 seconds. They can’t be shrunk, frozen, have a flower placed on their head, slowed down, or even have their stats lowered through ways like the Inkling’s ink! Truly a revolutionary drug.
