Stage Info[]

The Yggdrasil tree is a great mythical tree known to appear across all of the worlds in various shapes and sizes. The leaves of the Yggdrasil tree are filled with potent divine energy which are able to revive the fallen and fully heal a party of heroes. Many heroes have visited the Yggdrasil tree over the years such as the time when Hero (Solo) and his party were searching for Zenithian equipment or when her chosen champion the Luminary claimed the Sword of Light from her heart. It is said that the Yggdrasil tree was once a mighty dragon known as the Yggdragon who was slain in a battle with Calasmos before being reborn into the Yggdrasil tree.

Stage Layout[]

This stage begins rooted to the ground at the start of the match before eventually rising up into the air where it will stay for the remainder of the fighter. The main platform for this stage is long and flat and for the most part there are no additional platforms. That said, additionally platforms can fly onto the stage over time to mix up the platform arrangement. This can include a platform layout similar to Battlefield, but with the upper platform being longer than the left and right platforms. Two platforms which are on the far left and right edges of the stage. A short platform above the right side of the stage, with a longer platform on the left which is tilted diagonally down to the left. Two platforms on the left, one is longer than the other, but lower to the ground and closer to the center of the stage while the second platform is further to the left, shorter, and higher in the air.

While the fight goes on the platform will be flying through the air showcasing not only the Yggdrasil Tree, but various other locations in the surrounding area. The flying whale Cetacea can be seen flying through the sky and the stage may even be visited by Tockles and Slimes who like to watch the fight play out. Very rarely a Liquid Metal Slime may appear on the stage before it quickly runs away.

Chests[]

When hazards are turned on, two additional platforms can appear on the stage. These platforms are small circular platforms and will appear off lower than the main platform and off to the far left and right. One of these platforms can appear at a time, or both can appear at the same time. Any time these platforms appear they will have 1 chest located on top of them. If a chest is hit by an attack it will open up and reveal a higher-rarity item. However there is a chance that these chests are actually a Mimic in disguise. Mimics will chase down and attack whoever opened them (and anyone in their path) until they are defeated.
