Pokemon Info[]

Evolving from the comparatively fun-sized Wailmer at level 40, Wailord is a behemoth of a Pokemon. On average, it measures at just over 47 feet and over 877 pounds! Luckily, like whales in our world, it is a gentle giant. Currently, it is the largest of all identified Pokemon. It's also known to be able to dive at over 10,000 feet with only one breath.

Attack Description[]

Like Snorlax, Wailord comes falling down from the top of the stage while making its Pokemon cry. Unlike Snorlax, it comes back with partial recoil once it hits the bottom blast zone, leaving opponents with a watery wake following its departure! Water will splash out in a great jetstream from the bottom of the stage, dousing it in spray. The closer an opponent is to the water, the harsher it'll come back to damage 'em. It can also send them flying in the opposite direction that Wailord's massive body had sent them to begin with. The stage, covered in water, will be more likely to make characters trip for the few seconds that it remains prevalent. Wailord is roughly the size of Final Destination in this form. Trying to avoid it? Good luck, and godspeed.

Occasionally, instead of using Body Slam and Splash, Wailord will instead glow red while floating over the space where it was summoned. Using Frustration, it will humorously spin its body across the stage, thrashing around in a boomerang's arc. It spins all the way off stage! Anyone hit by the behemoth here will, of course, be absolutely bodied. Although, its size is at least much more manageable. About 3/4 the size of Battlefield.
