Upa's most formidable foe in the Ice World is none other than the Top Hat Walrus. This stage boss is known for his burly physique and gorgeous, silken top hat. He must know all the right designers!
Boss Fight Details[]
Fighters battle Top Hat Walrus on a Battlefield version of Mountain Village, although with a slippery ice effect covering the main platform. Naturally, Top Hat Walrus is in his element and will not slip and slide across the ice as the player normally would. The fight begins as it would in Bio Miracle Bokkute Upa, with the walrus feigning innocence as he gently waddles to and fro, from one side of the stage to the other. Give him too much time to himself, or dish out the first hit, and things will get serious! He'll deftly slide across the ice, also taking time to leap onto other platforms as needed to dish out his retribution. He can build up some surprising momentum, entering moments of invincibility as he slides masterfully across the ice with a wind pocket surrounding him. Like the Giant Pig, Top Hat Walrus cannot be bothered by flinching, and will rarely do so even when faced with the heaviest attacks. Some might cause him to slow down, though.

Slam[]
Top Hat Walrus' trademark attack. He builds up enough moment to gain moments of super armor and invincibility as he barrels forward more like a bull than anything! This attack shall only be used on the main, icy platform as it is the only space for him to gain enough momentum to use it properly. Get caught in the wake of this attack and deal with the consequences, including heavy damage, knockback, and near-instant shield-breaking quantities.
Leap[]
Like King Dedede, Top Hat Walrus mightily leaps into the air! Upon his return to the earth, anyone caught directly in his path will be sent barreling towards the platform below or be grounded. Stars will appear on either side of the walrus, dishing out minor damage to those hit by them.
Top Hat Toss[]
Giving his best Super Mario Odyssey impression, the Top Hat Walrus will stand in-place and toss his large, Kirby-sized top hat towards his opponents. It makes a boomerang-like arc, arcing upwards before returning to the walrus' head. The hat can deflect projectiles and is oddly good at breaking shields with its cutter effect.
