Assist Trophy Info[]
Known for his catchphrase, “What’re ya buyin’?”, The Weapons Merchant is a mysterious character who Leon S. Kennedy encounters multiple times during his mission to retrieve Ashley Graham from an unnamed village in Spain. No one knows how or where he gets his weapons from, but he always seems to have a fresh supply whenever Leon meets up with him.
Mode of Assistance[]
When The Merchant appears on the stage he’ll start out standing in place and looking around him as the fighting takes place and almost seem to nervously glance at the chaos of the battlefield. When a fighter gets close to The Merchant, or if they stayed nearby after using the Assist Trophy, he will open up his cloak and say his famous phrase, “What’re ya buyin’?” as 3-6 different weapon-based items spawn on the ground around The Merchant. These items can range from projectile based weapons like the Coconut Gun or Super Scope, throwables like the Sprinkler or Smart Bomb, and melee weapons like the Devil Axe or Ore Club.
Other Notes[]
If all of the different items that The Merchant can spawn have been turned off, then The Merchant cannot spawn out of the Assist Trophy.
