Stage Info[]
The Atlantic City Boardwalk is a major location in Monopoly, and is the most expensive property on the board (located right before the Go space). You’d better hope you’re rich enough to afford this prized attraction, as you might end up forced to purchase it! This beachside strip has tons of shops, attractions, hotels and even a giant ferris wheel. It’s the perfect spot for a walk, even if you’re not a big spender!
Stage Layout[]
The Boardwalk’s gimmick is a lot like Spiral Mountain’s - the battleground changes depending on the perspective. The camera is located in a spot that, by swivelling around in place, can present four different viewpoints:
- Facing the boardwalk shops - The stage features walk-offs on either side, with a few shop awnings functioning as platforms.
- Facing the distance (left side) - The shop wall is on the right acting as a wall, with a walk-off leading to the beach on the left.
- Facing the beach - The stage features walk-offs on either side, and no platforms.
- Facing the distance (right side) - The shop wall is on the left acting as a wall, with a walk-off leading to the beach on the right.
The perspective of the battle will change roughly every 30 seconds; this is done to simulate the changes of direction when going around the Monopoly board. The time of day will also gradually change, with the shops along the boardwalk turning on and glowing at night. Enjoy the scenic battlefield from every angle, all day and all night
