Sword Samurai are some of the first surprises thrown at Takamaru in The Mysterious Murasame Castle. Populating a number of castles, these enemies are often treated as mini-bosses, needing to be defeated before Takamaru can unlock a door and move on to another leg of a castle.
Fight Pattern[]
Sword Samurai track their opponents' movement, responding in a way similar to an enemy CPU. Rival samurai to Takamaru, they are very smart and capable foes.
Attacks[]
Blade[]
The Sword Samurai always holds his blade outwards as he moves to and fro, capable of hurting an opponent even in his idle stance with a simple, maye even accidental jab. He can also slash the blade up to two times at once at his opponents, and can deflect hits brought at him with a defensive stance. A few strong hits can send his sword flying, leaving him a sitting duck and an attack sponge 'til he's KO'd.
