With how proud he is of being descended from the legendary hero Nagi, you'd think that Susano would be a skilled fighter in his own right. Sadly this isn't the case. Not only did he scoff an ancient legends and release the demon Orochi by mistake, but he's proved to be so bad at swordplay that Amaterasu has often had to secretly use her brush techniques to cut through things for Susano. Not that he knows Amaterasu is doing this of course.
Mode of Assistance[]
Susano will appear striking a heroic pose before twirling his sword and rushing forwards in a similar manner to Ike's Quick Draw special. However instead of a slash at the end of the dash, Susano was swinging his sword the whole way through to damage anyone he dashed past. The attack and damage don't actually hit the fighters though until after the dash is complete. That said... Susano isn't as great a swordfighter as he purports to me so oftentimes the people he tried to attack get away scot-free. When this happens Susano will become frustrated as his face goes red and he stomps on the ground a little bit. Sometimes however Amaterasu will secretly assist Susano and use her celestial brush to do the cutting for him. When this happens a piece of paper will fall behind Susano as he finishes his dash with a single brushstroke drawn across it. This will cause each of the fighters in Susano's path to be damaged and fall into a crumpled state.
Susano has a second attack he can do as well, but its considerably rarer than this basic slash attack. During these times Susano will instead use his special technique, the Susano-Style Exploding Implosion. For this attack Susano will jump up into the air towards an opponent and make a downwards slashing motion at them. When he does this there is a 20% chance that the opponent will receive heavy damage and be sent flying away with an explosion. The rest of the time though Susano will be the one being exploded and will be sent flying offscreen as he KOs himself.
