Boss Info[]
A kangaroo mutated by Dr. Cortex who was driven to the brink of insanity. He’s known for hopping around like a mad man and using explosives when fighting. After his first appearance he claims to have spent 8 years in therapy and studied psychology. However it’s likely that this is just the ramblings of a psychopath and this all only occurred in his own head as a year later he would fight Crash Bandicoot again.
Boss Fight Details[]
Bit of an odd boss fight, but in this one Ripper Roo will be bouncing all over the stage with a pogo stick. In the opening of the battle he’ll bounce in a straight line from one side to the other but after losing about half of his health he’ll start to bounce around in more erratic patterns.
Attacks[]
TNT[]
When Ripper Roo bounces on the stage he leaves behind a present. Embedded in the platform of the stage he’ll leave behind a crate of TNT that after three seconds will explode.
Nitro[]
When Ripper Roo is down to his last third of health, he’ll start mixing in crates of Nitro along with his TNT. Nitro Crates deal more damage than the TNT does and instead of exploding on a timer they explode on contact. Running over or jumping on the Nitro can cause them to explode as can Ripper Roo jumping on one with his pogo stick however Ripper Roo himself is immune to the damage from the explosives.
Soundtrack[]
