Punch Ants, and their variants Flash Ants and Numb Ants, are a species of monster that can be found in Weyard. Punch Ants are tall ants that stand up on their rear legs and wear boxing gloves on all four of their arms. They aren’t particularly strong, but the sheer idea of a man-sized ant with boxing gloves is kinda scary.
Fight Pattern[]
Punch Ants have a simple movement pattern of stalking back and forth across a small area and just targeting opponents that get nearby. Unlike some enemies however, Punch Ants do have the ability to hop slightly which lets them attack aerial opponents or reach platforms above them.

Punch[]
The Punch Ant will deliver a quick punch in front of it. This punch is rather weak with a small amount of knockback, but the Punch Ant will sometimes punch twice in quick succession for a one-two combo.
Flash Punch[]
The Punch Ant will strike up a stance as it seems to charge up its fists with blue energy. Suddenly, the Punch Ant will quickly dash forward as it punches anything in its path. Fighters who are hit by this attack will get knocked straight up into the air.
Formic Acid[]
A bubble of gross purple acid will form around the Punch Ant’s mouth. The Punch Ant will spit this acid at faraway fighters with a bit of a lobbing arc. If a fighter is hit by this attack they will take a small amount of water damage with a small chance to be stunned.
