Stage Info[]
The Prism Tower is the center-piece of Lumiose City both in terms of being placed directly in the middle of the city and their greatest landmark. Prism Tower is also host to the city’s Pokemon Gym where Clemont serves as an electric-type gym leader.
Stage Design[]
Stage Layout[]
This stage starts out as the fighters battle it out on the flat ground in front of the Prism Tower. Not long into the battle though a moving platform will appear which fighters need to jump onto or they’ll soon be left behind. This platform will carry the fighters up along the Prism Tower and up to its peak before eventually bringing the fighters back down to the ground. During this process however the platform will stop at a few points with differing platform arrangements.
The first stopping point will be about 1/3rd of the way up the tower as the fighters are left to fight on just one relatively short platform. The next stopping point will be about 2/3rds of the way up to the tower where the main platform shrinks further, but gains another soft platform floating above it and two more shorter platforms that float off to the side. The next stop brings the fighters to the top of Prism Tower with another short main platform and two other platforms that float off to the left and right. After this point when the traveling platform appears again the fighters will be able to see a nice sweeping view of Lumiose City before it brings the fighters back down to the ground.
As this is all occurring the day in Lumiose City will pass as the sun begins to set when you get near the top and will become nighttime when you are getting that last sweeping view of the city before returning to day time when you hit the ground again.
Like other Pokemon stages, Prism Tower also features several Pokemon in its background that watch the fight take place. Helioptile can be seen on the ground while Magnemite, Zapdos, Emolga, and Yveltal can be seen as you rise up through the tower. The base of Prism Tower will also feature two tv screens which show various advertisements appropriate to Lumiose City such as Pokemon Amie, Trainer PR Videos, Roller Skates, Gogoat Shuffle, Holo Casters, and films starring Diantha and Lucario.
