Pokemon Info[]
A rather unique Pokemon from the Alola region. Depending on what island an Oricorio is from, their type and design can be completely different from each other! Baile Style Oricorios come from Ula'ula island and are Fire/Flying-type. Pom-Pom Style Oricorios come from Melemele Island and are Electric/Flying-type. Pa'u Style Oricorio are from Akala Island and are Psychic/Flying-type. Sensu Style Oricorio are from Poni Island and are Ghost/Flying-type.
Attack Description[]
When summoned from a Poke Ball only one Oricorio will pop out of it with equal chances of it being each different one. When they appear, the Oricorio will begin to dance on the stage in whatever manner of style that particular Oricorio is based off of. The dance itself does nothing to hurt the fighters but depending on the Oricorio that appears the dance will have a different effect on the stage and it's fighters. Anything the Oricorios cause to happen will not affect the player that summoned them.
Baile Style: When the red Oricorio appears and begins its dance, tiny embers of flame will fall from the sky and land down onto the platforms. The dancing embers continue to fall nonstop but they aren't moving so fast they are impossible to dodge. The damage they deal is minimal and coming into contact with an ember will remove it from the field. A safe way to avoid the flames is to hide under another platform as when the embers make contact with the stage they will stop and burn in place momentarily before dissipating.
Pom-Pom Style: When the yellow Oricorio appears and begins its dance, the platform it's dancing on will become electrified! Any opposing player that touches or tries to run on that platform will be taking damage for each second they stay in contact with it. Luckily for them this only affects on platform and unless you're fighting on a stage like Final Destination it's pretty easy to stay away from the electrified platform.
Pa'u Style: When the pink Oricorio appears and begins its dance, the controls of the opposing players will become swapped! Left becomes Right and Right becomes left while Up becomes Down and Down becomes Up. It will be sure to cause confusion at the start but a smart player will be able to adjust fairly easily.
Sensu Style: When the purple Oricorio appears and begins its dance, a swirl of ethereal mists will flow from it creating a large spectral looking circle. Any opponents inside of the circle will have their strength sapped from them. While under its effects the other players will have their attacks do significantly less damage until they leave the misty circle. '
