Character Information[]

The Mii Musician jams alongside other Mii Fighters like the Mii Spellcaster, Mii Swordfighter, Mii Brawler, and Mii Gunner - not in the spreadable, fruity delight kind-of way, but in the music jam kind-of way! Instead of throwing punches or fireballs, this rhythm-savvy contender battles with the raw power of music, turning guitars, tubas, flutes, and drums into instruments of chaos. Like the other Mii Fighters, the Mii Musician has three different options for each of their special moves, letting you decide whether your Mii shreds strings, blows brass, or pounds percussion. Pick your setlist, tune up, and take the stage - the Mii Musician is ready to rock (or polka) the competition!

General Information[]

Entrance[]

The Mii Musician strolls onto the stage with music notes floating above their head, accompanied by a whimsical instrumental flourish. They bow deeply before assuming their battle stance, instrument at the ready.

Kirby Hat[]

When Kirby copies the Mii Musician, he gains a simple white bandana with the Mii Musician’s face emblazoned on it. He also holds a miniature version of the Mii Musician’s current instrument to play their Standard Special.

Taunts[]

Up Taunt: Plays a short Wii-era melody on a string instrument, referencing tracks like the "Wii Sports Theme", "Wii Music Theme", or "Wii Shop Channel."

Side Taunt: Performs a recognizable Nintendo fanfare on a brass or woodwind instrument, such as the "Overworld Theme" from Super Mario Bros., the "Item Get" jingle from The Legend of Zelda, or the victory tune from Kirby.

Down Taunt: Hits a quick percussive sting, such as a drum flourish or cymbal crash, before posing dramatically, often leaning on their side in King Dedede-esque fashion beside their instrumtn.

Victory Poses[]

  1. The Mii Musician leaps joyfully into a roaring crowd that materializes at the edge of the stage, crowd surfing back and forth as applause erupts.
  1. The Mii Musician performs a final triumphant flourish on their instrument, spotlight shining down as confetti rains from above.
  1. The Mii Musician plays a short, elegant jingle and bows gracefully as red curtains draw shut behind them while the audience offers polite applause.

Moveset A: Strings[]

Standard Special[]

Power Chord: The Mii Musician strums a guitar with explosive force. Uncharged, it releases a soft acoustic shockwave in a small radius, dealing modest damage. Holding the charge electrifies the chord, sending a larger AOE shockwave that can heavily damage shields and knock foes back.

Side Special[]

Violin Dance: The Mii Musician fiddles furiously, moving forward as they dance. A flurry of musical notes swirls around them in arcs, damaging nearby enemies. Functions somewhat like Marth’s Side Special, but with more flourish and continuous movement.

Up Special[]

Harp Ascent: The Mii Musician plucks a harp that glows with radiant energy, creating angelic light as they float upward gracefully. Similar in function to Pit’s Up Special from ‘’Brawl’’, but with added style. The harp lingers briefly as a breakable object, with shards usable as weak projectiles.

Down Special[]

Mad Piano: The Mii Musician summons a massive grand piano that crashes down on opponents. If it lands on a foe, they are trapped inside, taking damage over time before being launched. If used without hitting, the piano remains on stage as a trap for several seconds before vanishing.

Final Smash[]

Mii Music: The legendary Sebastian Tute appears beside the Mii Musician, both raising batons to summon an entire Mii Orchestra. As the orchestra takes seats in the background, a bombastic Wii-era medley (such as the Wii Sports or Wii Shop Theme) erupts. The stage floods with chaotic musical notes: some explode on contact, some swirl around trapping fighters, others hone in and strike like missiles, and a few can even be used as temporary platforms. The finale ends with a massive crashing chord, launching all trapped fighters before the orchestra bows out.

Extra Skill[]

Retune: Over time, the Musician’s instrument can fall out of tune, reducing damage slightly. Using Retune restores tuning, refreshing damage output and granting a small stat buff (attack, speed, or defense) each time it’s used. Retune can be used once every 30 seconds and is accompanied by a brief tuning animation.

Moveset B: Winds[]

Standard Special[]

Brass Champ: Inspired by ‘’Trombone Champ’’, the Mii Musician plays a trombone or trumpet with notes scrolling across a pitch board. Hitting notes in rhythm produces larger, faster projectiles. Consecutive accurate hits add status effects like electric shocks or poison damage.

Side Special[]

Sax Slide: Sliding forward on their knees, the Mii Musician belts a wailing saxophone riff. This produces a cone-shaped shockwave of sound in front of them, damaging and pushing opponents back. Functions somewhat like Fox Illusion, but with an AOE hitbox instead of movement priority.

Up Special[]

Flute Flight: The Mii Musician spins a flute like a rotor, propelling themselves upward while releasing twinkling notes. Works like a helicopter ascent, dealing light multihits to foes caught in the spin.

Down Special[]

Tuba Trap: The Musician drops a massive tuba over an opponent, trapping them inside. Unlike Mad Piano, the Musician can move slowly while carrying the tuba, limiting mobility until it explodes after a few seconds for heavy damage.

Using Retune restores tuning, refreshing damage output and granting a small stat buff (attack, speed, or defense) each time it’s used. Retune can be used once every 30 seconds and is accompanied by a brief tuning animation.

Moveset C: Percussion[]

Standard Special[]

Drum Roll: The Mii Musician drums furiously on a kit that appears in front of them. Holding the button extends the roll, with damage scaling the longer it’s held. Notes fly outward as small projectiles, similar to DK’s Ground Slap but with extended reach.

Side Special[]

Cymbal Rush: The Mii Musician charges forward, slamming cymbals together on enemies. Foes caught between the cymbals are trapped before being forcefully flung. Can be chained into follow-ups if timed precisely.

Up Special[]

Bass Bounce: The Mii Musician summons a massive bass drum to leap upon, launching the Musician skyward at an angle. After use, the drum remains briefly as a platform that can be destroyed by foes or reused strategically.

Down Special[]

Bongo Barrier: The Musician plays a resonant bongo rhythm, summoning a glowing soundwave barrier in front of them. While active, the barrier blocks physical attacks but not projectiles. Maintaining it requires holding the input, gradually draining stamina.
