Lunala is a legendary Pokemon known to the people of Alola, and is one of two possible final evolutions of Cosmog along Solgaleo. Lunala is called by some the “Beast That Calls the Moon” and is said to originate from another world where it devours light in order to create a dark veil of night to cover up the brightness of day. It’s said that when this occurs Lunala then becomes the full moon itself to shower its own light over the night sky.
Attack Description[]
Upon being summoned, Lunala will teleport into the background of the stage and before charging up with lunar energy. Once the charge is complete, Lunala will fire a lunar-powered laser which aims towards a random opponent who is on the ground. If no opponent is on the ground at the time then the laser will instead fire at the last point on the ground that they touched. This laser will be slowly dragged upwards as it traps and damages fighters caught in it before blasting them backwards. Lunala will then pause briefly before firing the laser two more times and then leaving the stage.
