Koffing is pretty much just a ball of toxic gasses that floats around through the air. When in battle they can spew their gasses at opponents to attack from afar or serve as their own decent projectile as they ram into opponents like a ball to the face. They’re at their most powerful when in pollution-filled areas and will almost seem to be sick when the air around them is sparkling clean.
Fight Pattern[]
Koffings are mostly motionless to start as they just drift lazily in the air. Even when they notice an opponent they’ll only move towards them by slowly floating in their direction. If a Koffing doesn’t get KO’d soon enough after it engages with a fighter, it may decide to leave on its own and fly away.

Koffing can attack with its poisonous gas in one of two ways. The first is just a passive attack where Koffing will just let out a few streams of toxic gas around itself, almost like flower petals, while it floats in place. The other method is used when either a fighter moves to get in range of Koffing or Koffing moves to get in range of them. For this attack Koffing will inflate itself to a slightly larger size and unleash a massive cloud of toxic gas. While Koffing’s attacks do a small amount of damage, they inflict no knockback. Instead, Koffing’s attacks are capable of lowering a fighter’s stats and make them weaker for the battles ahead.
