A small humanoid enemy with several appearances in the Kirby franchise. They’re all about delivering fast punches and are capable of all the same techniques that the Fighter ability has. As one would expect, inhaling a Knuckle Joe will give Kirby the Fighter ability. In Kirby Star Allies Knuckle Joe is one of several Helpers that can be played as to help Kirby in his journey.
Mode of Assistance[]
Once on the field Knuckle Joe will jump towards an opponent a perform his Vulcan Jab technique, as he says the name, by performing a series of rapid punches in an arc towards the fighter. Knuckle Joe will then jump towards a fighter again before performing a second Vulcan Jab.
Following his two Vulcan Jabs Knuckle Joe will perform one of two finisher moves chosen at random. One of them is Rising Break which is an electrically charged uppercut while the other is Smash Punch which sees Knuckle Joe punch forwards once creating a Hadoken-like projectile that flies across the screen.
Knuckle Joe will perform a cycle of Vulcan Jab-Vulcan Jab-Finisher twice before leaving the field.
