Groudon is a legendary Pokemon native to the Hoenn regions and is said to have the ability to create and expand the continents. In ancient times it battled against Kyogre, it’s oceanic equivalent, until their bout was stopped by Rayquaza. In modern times it was sought after by Team Magma who sought to use its Primal Reversion to cause the lands around the Hoenn region to expand and shrink the ocean.

Groudon doesn’t do a whole lot when he appears and pretty much just stands around. He’ll move around a little bit by turning around and moving its arms and legs, but beyond that Groudon is fairly stationary. That said, anyone that makes contact with Groudon will be hurt with fire damage as Groudon’s body is quite literally overflowing with heat. Compared to Moltres, the damage from touching Groudon is considerably less to make up for the fact that Groudon covers a much larger area of the stage.
