Boss Info[]
Throughout his titular game, Upa will run across Giant Pig. A hog with a frightfully large mouth, Giant Pig will walk to and fro, shooting cannonballs and enemies alike at Upa. Upa must inflate the enemies with his rattle and tackle them back into Giant Pig three or more times to defeat him. In Smash, he might use other tactics to help his cause.
Boss Fight Details[]
The fight takes place on a Final Destination version of Upa's Kingdom, set atop an extended version of its large cake centerpiece. The fight begins as it does in Bio Miracle Bokkute Upa, with Giant Pig perched upon the cake and simply walking to and fro, dishing out its signature attacks. Hurt it enough, though, and it'll enter a rage mode capitalized upon by sudden new abilities. It will move similarly to a fighter's AI at this point, following the fighter instead of simply walking back and forth. It will run, walk, crouch, and jump as necessary to carry out its goals. The only thing it can't do is be sent flying until the bitter end; even the heartiest of Smash attacks won't cause Giant Pig to flinch.
Attacks[]
Shoot[]
Just as in its source material, Giant Pig takes a moment, wiggles its snout/mouth/thing about, and shoots either a cannonball or an enemy from its mouth. Most of the time, it will be a Red Doll that is shot out, although it might also summon a Goomba, Bronto Burt, or Cucco. On higher difficulties, the Giant Pig can shoot an Orne out, requiring fighters to avoid it for an allotted period of time as they battle. The Red Doll, as in its canon appearance, will perform a gentle hop in one direction or the other to get by. With this move, it'll dish light damage on impact. The cannonball moves slowly, similarly to ones found on the Halberd, and is about one Kirby in size. A hit from it, naturally, will be hearty.
Charge[]
When it's backed into a corner, Giant Pig learns a few new moves that aren't canon to the Bio Miracle Bokkute Upa experience. The first sees it turning red in the face and charges its opponents. Anyone rammed by Giant Pig will be dealt good damage and knockback, and could be grounded or have their shield broken.
Piggy Leap[]
Giant Pig mightly spins in place, then leaps into the air, honing-in on a fighter's location, and slamming downwards onto them. The move is fairly powerful and is capable of grounding fighters and breaking their shields. The initial spin might be enough to ground them, too, if they get caught up in it. In which case, they'll be left as sitting ducks for Giant Pig to squash!
