Stage Info[]
Fourside is a metropolis city which has recently come under the control of Geldegarde Monotoli after taking over from the previous mayor. After Paula gets kidnapped inside the department store, Ness and Jeff learn that Monotoli is being influenced by the Mani Mani Statue which drove him to command Paula’s kidnapping. Ness and Jeff end up having to travel to Fourside’s hidden alternate dimension, Moonside, to destroy the Mani Mani Statue and free Paula and the city of Fourside from Monotoli’s control.
Stage Layout[]
Fighters will be battling out on the rooftops of some of Fourside’s skyscrapers including the Monotoli Building in the center. The Monotoli Building is the largest building with its rightside having a much lower roof than the left. The left side has a really short platform at its peak, but below that has two small ledge platforms on either side of the building’s peak. A short gap is between the Monotoli Building and the two buildings to its left and right which allows for fighters to try and wall jump through as a form of recovery if they have the ability to do that.
The rightmost building is the lowest platform on the stage and has nothing else special about it. The leftmost building starts out slightly higher than the lower roof of the Monotoli Building before sloping up towards its center and plateauing for a short flat portion. Above this building is a crane carrying a flat platform. Occasionally the crane will activate and carry the platforms around in a square pattern starting by carrying it over towards the left so that it is fully over the far left pit, then raising it higher into the air, then back towards the right above the left building, and then finally downwards into its original position.
A UFO will occasionally float downwards, complete with an eerie sound, and will remain suspended high in the air above the left or right side of the stage. The midpoint of the UFO will be centered either directly above the pit in between the Monotoli Building and the right building or the middle of the left building. This UFO is a semisoft platform allowing for fighters to jump up through it, but not fall down through it. The UFO’s surface is also very slippery making it difficult to run on and it has a slight slant upwards towards its middle with the midpoint having a bulge for the UFO’s cockpit. The UFO will bob slightly up and down and after about 30 seconds have passed it will begin to blink slowly before flying into the background and off towards the moon.
