Assist Trophy Info[]
Flayn is a soft-spoken, sweet-hearted mage in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. She serves at Garreg Mach Monastery alongside the likes of Seteth, Rhea, Alois and others. She isn't a student, but she longs to be, and trains alongside Byleth. She's presented to the player as Seteth's younger sister, but is actually his daughter. She may appear to be around 17, but is actually over 1,000 years old. Though they've long since lost the ability to transform, they're dragons!
Mode of Assistance[]
Flayn will appear on stage with a big fish. She'll be carrying it with both arms wrapped around it to compensate for her small stature. With a smile, she'll say, "I'm so glad we caught such a big fish!" Just then, though, terror strikes—the fish wriggles out and leaps from of Flayn's grip! It'll flutter forwards, splashing for naught across the stage at a slightly faster speed than the fish that Alois tends to catches. As it flees from Flayn, she will chase after it, tripping a couple of times along the way. If she catches it again, twice, she'll disappear with it on the second time with a giggle. If a fighter attacks the fish or—to her worst nightmare—defeats and consumes it before she can, she'll get in a huff and shout, "How dare you!"
Then, Flayn will unleash one of three spells upon her opponent: Wind, Fire, or Nosferatu. Each works about as it would in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, with Flayn shouting the name of the spell as she outstretches her hand and has it propel towards her opponents, specifically honing-in on the one who had taken her fish. With Wind, a small, spherical swirl of green gales will propel towards the opponents, cutting them. With Fire, a small fireball will travel in a downwards arc towards them, catching them aflame. With Nosferatu travels forward as a thin ray of purple light, exploding in a firework-esque dark burst once it reaches Flayn's foe. Once she attacks them, she'll disappear, saying "Serves you right!" She may cast up to three spells before leaving, but won't perform any more past the one that first connects with an opponent.
