Stage Info[]

Dream Land is a country on the planet Popstar and is where the majority of Kirby’s adventures take place. Dream Land is ruled by King Dedede, though “rule” is a light term as he doesn’t actually do any real ruling and Dream Land’s residents mostly just ignore him and keep living their lives as per normal. Dream Land is made up of several different areas such as the Rainbow Islands, Sand Canyon, and Rainbow Resort. One such area, Green Greens, is actually what this stage’s design is mostly based off of.

Stage Layout[]

The Dream Land stage is very similar to Battlefield. It consists of one main platform with three soft platforms above in it the same pattern of Battlefield. The difference mainly lies in the main platform being shaped differently and is more rectangular while also being slightly shorter.

Whispy Woods also appears in the background of the stage where he acts as a hazard and you can also find Bronto Burts as well as King Dedede flying in the background. That said, King Dedede won’t appear if he’s one of the fighters in the match.

Stage Hazards[]

Whispy Woods[]

Every so often, Whispy Woods will turn to face whatever side of the screen has the most fighters (random in case of a tie) and begin to gently blow air in that direction. This wind is capable of pushing Items, Pokemon, and Assist Trophies off the edge of the stage however fighters are spared from its wrath to a degree. While fighters can be pushed around by the wind and need to be careful, if they are standing on the ground itself then they can’t be forced off the edge.

Soundtrack[]

  • Kirby's Dream Land
    • Green Greens - An orchestral remix which puts more of a focus on percussive instruments and woodwinds when compared to the Melee remix, while also incorporating brass and strings. [SSB4]
    • Roasted Sweet Potato Shooting
  • Kirby's Adventure
    • Ice Cream Island - A medley of tracks from Kirby’s Adventure including Ice Cream Island, Boss Theme, Sparkling Star, and the Kirby Dance before looping back to the start. The entire medley is finished with chiptune-style instrumentation and heavy percussion similar to the original tracks. [SSB4]
  • Kirby Super Star
    • Gourmet Race - A faithful remix with an upbeat polka-based style prominently featuring woodwind and trumpet leads. [SSB]
  • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
  • Kirby Air Ride
  • Kirby: Triple Deluxe
