Dragonite is a well recognized and powerful Dragon-type Pokemon known for its kind heart. Dragonite is the favored Pokemon of the Kanto region’s Champion, Lance, so much so that he even has multiple of them on his team. After the Ultimate Weapon was fired for the second time in the Kalos region, a new Mega Evolution was discovered for Dragonite. This Mega Evolution gave Dragonite additional wings and amplified its already powerful feelings of kindness.

Mega Dragonite
When Dragonite appears it will quickly undergo Mega Evolution and emerge as Mega Dragonite! Mega Dragonite will fly up over the screen and into the background before it whips up a fearsome hurricane. This hurricane will cause partially obscuring winds to cover the screen while also dealing constant hits of damage (but no knockback) to all opposing fighters. Shortly after the Hurricane was formed, Mega Dragonite will use Thunder to drop multiple bolts of lightning around the stage which deal heavy damage and knockback if they strike a foe. Once four thunderbolts have been dropped on the stage the hurricane will begin to recede as Mega Dragonite leaves the field.
