Boss Info[]

Mathias Cronqvist was once an ordinary human who loved his wife dearly. When his wife died of sickness however he was driven mad before seeking out the power of the Crimson Stone and using it to transform himself into an immortal vampire. In the following years Mathias would marry again and have a son he named Adrian, but tragedy would strike Mathias’ again as the nearby villagers executed his wife under the accusation of being a witch. This second loss is what drove Mathias to change his name to Count Dracula Vlad Tepes and begin his plot for revenge against all of mankind. Time and time again Dracula would create monsters and demons to destroy humanity. Yet time and time again warriors would stand up against him, most notably various members of the Belmont clan as well as his own son, now known as Alucard.

Boss Fight Details[]

When this boss fight begins Dracula will be seen sitting in the background of the stage sitting on his throne holding a glass. Dracula will then throw his drink aside and stand up out of his chair before swinging out his arm and warping onto the stage. Dracula will stand in place during the boss fight and will only move around by warping from one spot to another in a pillar of light. Dracula can only be damaged by attacks that hit his head as attacks that hit the rest of his body will merely pass through him as that part of his body transforms into mist briefly.

Dracula's second form

After Dracula’s health bar has been depleted he will fall down to his knees before using his dark magics to transform himself into a large green winged demon. Dracula’s health bar will be fully refreshed in this form as his behavior and attacks change completely. Dracula will now walk and jump around the stage instead of warping and his entire body can be hurt instead of just his head.

During the first phase of this boss fight the track “Nothing to Lose” will play. The track will switch to “Black Night” when Dracula’s first form has been defeated and he transforms into his demonic form.

Attacks [First Form][]

Hellfire[]

Dracula will take a short step back before wrapping his cape around his body and then quickly flinging it open. Three fireballs will shoot out from Dracula’s cape as it opens up. These fireballs will fly fast, and spread out as they do.

Dark Inferno[]

Dracula will take a step back before holding out his arm and launching a series of large dark fireballs in front of him. These fireballs will fly forwards in a straight line and will alternate heights from being just above the ground to just below Dracula’s head.

Dark Inferno (Diffusion)[]

Dracula will wrap himself up in his cape before flinging it open with his arm held out to his side. This will cause a series of red and blue magic orbs to launch out from his cape. These orbs will do one of two things. The first has the orbs revolve around Dracula, alternating between moving clockwise and counter-clockwise, as they sprout outward away from Dracula. The second version of this attack as the orbs fly forwards from Dracula as they alternate flying out in cardinal and diagonal directions. The red orbs are more powerful than the blue, but they can be absorbed and reflected while the blue orbs cannot.

Pillar of Fire[]

Dracula will raise his arm into the air as harmless flames appear along the ground. These flames can appear all at once or in a sequence. After a few moments pass these flames will erupt into tall damaging pillars of flame that can hit fighters multiple times. When Dracula is at low health he can combine the usage of this move with either Hellfire, Dark Inferno, or Dark Inferno (Diffusion) making things rather difficult for fighters as they attempt to dodge both attacks at once.

Bat Moon[]

Dracula will throw his cape up into the air before transforming himself into a swarm of bats. In his bat form, Dracula flies backwards a short bit before rushing forwards and dealing darkness damage to any fighter that the bats come into contact with. This bat swarm is about as tall as Dracula is normally and the upper portion will start flying first with the lower parts of the swarm trailing just behind. Once the bats reach the other side of the stage they will reform into Dracula.

Attacks [Second Form][]

Curse Chaser[]

Dracula will spit out a series of spirits from his demonic mouth which will quickly fly up in front of him before tracking the players current location and diving straight for them. These spirits will disappear on contact and have a chance to inflict the Poison status on a hit in addition to their normal damage and knockback. Depending on the difficulty chosen, Dracula can spawn up to five spirits for this attack.

Hellfire[]

Dracula will charge up a fiery attack in his gut before spitting out a trio of fireballs that quickly fly forward and spread out. These fireballs are more dangerous than the ones that Dracula’s first form utilizes as they inflict a higher amount of damage and explode on contact allowing them to damage whatever is around them as well.

Shockwave[]

Dracula will charge up some electricity before firing out a large wave of electricity in front of him which tears forwards. This attack is roughly as tall as Dracula is itself and despite its electric appearance it actually inflicts Aura damage.

Rip Apart[]

Dracula will swipe forward in front of him with his massive claws. Dracula will swipe his claws either while standing in place or as he takes a step forward. On higher difficulties Dracula can swipe up to three times in succession with the final swipe dealing Darkness damage.

Strike[]

Dracula will swipe his claws overhead with a wide swing to catch any fighters who are trying to come at him from above. This wide swipe will deal darkness damage and can meteor smash fighters. Dracula may use this attack either while standing in place or while taking a step forwards.

Trample[]

Dracula will jump up shortly into the air before punching his fist into the ground below him. This punch will create a shockwave that flies out from the stage traveling in both directions. The jump, punch, and shockwave are all capable of damaging fighters.

Jump[]

Dracula will leap through the air and land on a different part of the stage. Both the actual jump and Dracula’s landing are capable of damaging opponents if they get in Dracula’s way.
