With great power comes great responsibility; or, in this case, a great curse! The Devil Axe bears incredible power, but it has a nasty habit of turning on its user. With every swing of the Devil Axe, there's a good chance that it will damage you instead of the one you intend to hurt.
Item Usage[]
The Devil Axe dishes a mighty blow when swung with the right ferocity, breaking shields and sending foes flying with ease. The trade-off here is the same as it is in its home franchise, though. There is a 30% chance that the Devil Axe will instead damage its user once a swing makes contact, forcing them to drop the weapon as they're dished heavy knockback. Then, there the Devil Axe will sit, awaiting the next one daring enough to take it on. Its curse is strong, and will even pervade those who throw it at their opponents.
