Boss Info[]
The Demon Wall serves as the last line of defense for the Dark Crystal that lies in the Sealed Cavern. When Cecil, Edge, Kain, Rydia, and Rosa retrieve the Dark Crystal one of the walls in the room comes alive. While the Demon Wall’s physical attacks were a joke, the real threat was the fact that the Demon Wall was constantly moving towards the party. While the party did manage to slay the Demon Wall in time, if they had failed then they would have been squished as the Demon Wall crushed them against the other side of the room.
Boss Fight Details[]
The Demon Wall acts very similarly to the way it does in Final Fantasy IV. The Demon Wall will start out on the right side of the screen while a solid immovable wall sits on the left. As the fight goes on the Demon Wall will be constantly moving at a slow pace towards the other wall in an attempt to completely crush the fighter who is seeking a way through. If the Demon Wall is being fought in multiplayer mode, then this boss fight will instead feature two Demon Walls at opposite ends of the stage.
Attacks[]
Slash[]
The Demon Wall has a very basic attack where it swings one of its claws from its wall a short distance ahead of itself. This attack is very weak and is just meant to try and get the fighter out of melee with the wall.
Crush[]
If the Wall gets to the point where a fighter like Bowser or Ridley can no longer comfortably move, then this final attack is triggered. The Demon Wall’s eyes will flash red before the Demon Wall rushes forward and crushes the fighter(s) against the opposite wall, ending the fight immediately.
