Stage Info[]
A large volcano commonly found in the north or north-eastern area of Hyrule. Over the millennia many creatures have called Death Mountain home including Lynels, Volvagia, Gouen, and Deadrocks however it is the Gorons who are most at home here. With their immense resistance to heat Death Mountain is the perfect home for the Goron as evidenced by the city they carved into it. Death Mountain is an active volcano making it quite the dangerous area to explore.
Stage Design[]
Stage Layout[]
Death Mountain is a grounded stage with walk-offs to the side. The fight takes place in front of the famous volcano which can at times make the fight a bit perilous. There are five outcroppings coming off from the volcano that fighters can use as platforms as well.
Hazards[]
Lava Rocks:[]
From time to time Death Mountain might spew flaming rocks from its top. These rocks will at first fly up above the screen before returning back down on the stage. Lava Rocks will break on impact dealing damage and knocking players away on impact.
Lava Flow:[]
Aside from just rocks, Death Mountain can also erupt and spew lava out from its top. The lava will flow down from a point at the top of Death Mountain gradually getting larger as it falls down. The lava can pass over the rocky outcropping making them unusable as well as covering up part of the bottom of the stage. Touching the lava will deal a minor amount of damage and bump you away from it. Be careful though not to keep touching the lava though.
