Character Info[]

Corrin is a prince (or princess) with ties to both the kingdoms of Nohr and Hoshido. While they were born to Mikoto and Sumeragi in Hoshido, they were kidnapped as a small child and raised in Nohr’s Northern Fortress under the belief that they were a member of the royal family. Years later Corrin would meet their Hoshidan siblings and learn part of the truth of their family. But after Mikoto’s death and a confrontation between the royals of each nation Corrin was forced to make a choice. Would they return to Nohr and forsake Hoshido? Would they betray Nohr and stay with Hoshido? Or would they reject both Nohr and Hoshido to forge a new path for themself?

General Information[]

Entrance[]

Corrin will fall gently down onto the stage while in dragon form. A pool of water will splash out onto the ground when they land and following that Corrin will transform back into their human form.

Kirby Hat[]

Kirby will wear the head of Corrin’s dragon form over his entire body as if it were a fancy helmet.

Taunts[]

Up Taunt: Corrin will duck down before standing back up and rearing back as they transform their head into their dragon head. During this taunt Male Corrin will say, “My path is clear!” while Female Corrin will say, “Let’s do this!”

Down Taunt: Corrin will twirl the Omega Yato in front of them a couple times. During this taunt Male Corrin will say, “I’ve made my choice.” while Female Corrin will say, “Your fate is clear.”

Side Taunt: Corrin will begin to twirl the Omega Yato in front of them before raising it into the air and continuing to twirl it above their head. Following that, Corrin will plant the Omega Yato into the ground. During this taunt Male Corrin will say, “Are you ready?” while Female Corrin will say, “You ready for this?”

Victory Poses[]

  1. Corrin will swing the Omega Yato around before twirling it in front of their face and finishing up by posing with their sword held behind them. During this, Male Corrin will say, “I win!” while Female Corrin will say, “Good!”
  2. Corrin will spin around themself as they twirl the Omega Yato up over their head. Corrin will end by looking back at the camera from over their shoulder as they plant the Omega Yato into the ground. During this, Male Corrin will say, “That went well!” while Female Corrin will say, “That was great.”
  3. Corrin will cross their arms in front of them as a cyclone of water swirls around them. Corrin will morph into their dragon form during this and blast the water back sending water droplets splashing all around the ground as they roar to the sky.

Moveset[]

Standard Special[]

Dragon Fang Shot: Corrin will transform their left arm into a draconic mouth and fire off an orb of water from it. If this attack hits an opponent they will be briefly paralyzed before being launched away. After the projectile gets fired Corrin’s arm will take a bite out of whatever is in front of it as an additional attack before reverting back to their normal human arm. Corrin is able to charge up this attack to increase the damage, knockback, and paralysis duration for the water orb. Additionally, the bite attack will be improved and at full charge it will forcefully clamp down on fighters for an increased amount of damage and knockback. A unique element to this is that each part of the attack can be charged independently of each other. For example, an uncharged water orb can be followed up by a fully charged bite.

Side Special[]

Dragon Lunge: When this move is used on the ground, Corrin will hop forward a short distance into the ground. Pressing the attack button during this jump will cause Corrin to transform one of their arms into a spear which they will strike diagonally downwards with. When used in the air, Corrin will instantly strike with their spear arm. If Corrin’s spear hits any terrain they will stab into the ground and be momentarily stuck there. This can pin opponents in place if they were in Corrin’s way as well. If Corrin was able to pin an opponent to the ground, they are able to follow up with a kick to either side by pressing the attack button again or tilting the control stick horizontally. Alternatively, they could use the jump button to jump up into the air.

Up Special[]

Dragon Ascent: Corrin will grow out their dragon wings as they leap up into the air. Corrin can hit opponents multiple times during their ascent as water effects splash around them. Corrin’s angle can also be adjusted somewhat by tilting the control stick and if you press back on the stick immediately after activating their move you can send Corrin launching higher up into the air than normal.

Down Special[]

Counter Surge: Corrin’s head will transform into its dragon form as they stand in a defensive stance. If Corrin is attacked during this animation they will fully transform into their dragon form and slam into the ground. This slam causes a surge of water to erupt out of the ground around both sides of Corrin which will launch hit opponents straight up into the air.

Final Smash[]

Torrential Roar: Corrin will strike the ground with their free hair and create two large pillars of light on either side of them. If a fighter gets struck by these pillars of light they will be blasted up into a cinematic cutscene. This Final Smash transports the fighter(s) into a rocky mountainous region before the camera pans towards Corrin who transforms into their dragon form. Corrin will breath out a massive whirlpool of water and fire it at the fighter(s). The fighter(s) will get swept away from the whirlpool and be seen spiraling through it as they take several hits of damage before getting spat out of the whirlpool and back into the stage where they are sent flying away.

Extra Skill[]

Dragon Vein: Corrin will partially transform into their dragon form as their arms appear draconic and their tail appears. A menu showcasing different elements will spin up next to Corrin as a point appears allowing Corrin to select which of their Dragon Vein abilities they would like to activate. Each Dragon Vein can only be activated once per stock and if this Extra Skill is activated when another Dragon Vein is still in effect, that Dragon Vein will be instantly deactivated. When Corrin activates a Dragon Vein they will let out a burst of whatever element was selected from their body before returning to their normal form. Each Dragon Vein and their effect are as follows:

  • Stone - A tall stone pillar will erupt from the ground in front of Corrin. This pillar serves as a defensive barrier and has 20 HP. When the stone pillar runs out of health it will crumble away into dust.
  • Water - A burst of water will splash out in front of Corrin and forcefully push back any fighter that was in front of Corrin.
  • Fog - A large cloud of fog will spawn over Corrin and heavily obscure anything that’s behind it.
  • Vines - A mass of thorny vines will sprout up from the ground in front of Corrin. While fighters can run through these vines without any issues, they will take damage from the vines immediately upon entering them and additional damage for every extra half second they spend in the vines.
  • Light - A field of healing energy will appear on the ground at Corrin’s feet. This energy field will heal any fighter for 5% per second for 5 seconds if they are standing in the field.
  • Fire - A blast of flames will surround Corrin and hit everything to all sides of them.
  • Ice - A freezing mist will strike the ground in front of Corrin as it turns a patch of the ground into ice. Fighters other than Corrin who attempt to walk or run over this ice will find it difficult to do so as their traction will be reduced. Additionally, fighters will have a high chance of tripping over the ice.
