Character Info[]
Conker made his first appearance in the N64 game Diddy Kong Racing and was originally intended to appeal to younger players. However, his biggest claim to fame is in Conker’s Bad Fur Day, a raunchy and vulgar adventure full of comedy and tragedy. Throughout the game, Conker finds himself in a variety of wacky situations including a bank heist, a war against robotic teddy bears, and battling a giant opera-singing pile of feces, all with a slew of foul language throughout. You know, for kids!
General Information[]
Entrance[]
Conker takes a drink of water mixed with a seltzer tablet, instantly perking himself up.
Kirby Hat[]
Kirby wears a ‘hat’ that looks like Conker’s head stretched over Kirby’s body, with Conker’s eyes cartoonishly X-ed out.
Taunts[]
Up Taunt: Conker angrily exclaims “%$*#!”, shown in a speech bubble above his head. Don’t worry, it’s bleeped out.
Down Taunt: Conker gives the audience his million-dollar smile, his eyes changing to dollar signs.
Side Taunt: Conker shakes his tail at the camera in a mocking manner.
Victory Poses[]
- Conker snatches a Cash and stuffs it in his pocket, scattering bills everywhere. “Yeh, more sponduli!”
- A closeup of Conker’s smirking face is shown, before quickly zooming back to reveal him sitting up a throne, wearing a crown and holding a glass of milk.
- Conker uses a chainsaw to sever a 3D Smash Bros. logo in half, in a callback to his game where he does the same to an N64 logo.
Moveset[]
Standard Special[]
Frying Pan: Conker takes a swipe at opponents with a big frying pan. The move deals high knock-back and can also reflect projectiles.
Side Special[]
Throwing Knives: Conker tosses a small throwing knife at the opponent. The knives have a slight homing effect similar to Samus’ missiles. The move does increased damage if one hits the opponent’s head.
Up Special[]
Mr. King Bee: Conker hangs onto Mr. King Bee and gets a ride. Upon reaching peak height, Conker lets go and enters free-fall while Mr. King Bee files up and away. He can’t be used again until he exits the screen.
Down Special[]
Context Sensitive: This move functions like a three-in-one counter. Using the move causes Conker to look up as a lightbulb briefly flashes above his head. Getting hit while in this state activates the counter. Holding the stick in a direction will use a different counter move, which can help Conker adapt depending on the situation:
- Up-tilt - Conker uses a blowtorch to wave a jet of fire above his head. This move does high damage but less knock-back.
- Side-tilt - Conker throws a large roll of toilet paper which travels in a slight arc before rolling a short distance. The toilet paper will bury opponents standing on the ground.
- Down-tilt - Conker turns into a large anvil and slams onto the ground, which can easily break opponent’s shields. If used in the air, Conker won’t transform back until he hits the ground; be sure to avoid using it while offstage.
Final Smash[]
Heinrich Reloaded: Conker dons a heavy spacesuit and charges forward. Any struck opponents are trapped in a cinematic recreation of the final battle of Conker’s Bad Fur Day. Conker grabs the large Xenomorph-like alien Heinrich by the tail and swings him around before flinging him towards the opponent(s). The alien’s massive form smacks into the them, dealing damage and launching them through the airlock out into space. Any opponents whose damage surpasses 100% are instantly KO’d.
Extra Skill[]
Hover: Conker can spin his tail by holding the jump button to briefly halt his fall. This can only be done once while in the air, similar to Peach’s floating skill.
