Assist Trophy Info[]
The Color TV-Game 15 is actually an old video game console and the successor to the original Color TV-Game. It’s name comes from the fact that the Color TV-Game 15 came with 15 games to play while the original could only play 6. One of these games was Tennis B, a Pong clone, which is how the Color TV-Game 15 is represented in Super Smash Bros.
Mode of Assistance[]
When the Assist Trophy is cracked open a Color TV-Game 15 console will be floating in the air above where the Assist Trophy was. Shortly after this the Color TV-Game 15 will split into two white paddles from Tennis B and arrange themselves on the far left and right of the screen. A large pixelated ball will appear in the middle as it begins to zoom towards one side of the screen. From here the two paddles will play a game of Tennis B between themselves. The ball will not only bounce off the paddles, but against any solid surface of the stage as well including both floor and walls. It will even bounce off of the fighters, but in doing so it will also hit them with a high amount of damage and knockback. Additionally the paddles themselves will knock away any fighters that run into them, but without damaging them, and they can even reflect projectiles that impact against them. That said the paddles can be damaged by attacks and doing so can lead to KO'ing this Assist Trophy. While the paddles will do their best to keep the ball in play, if the ball makes it past one of them the losing paddle will shake in frustration before a new ball enters play the same way as the first. Above the paddle lies the score of the game which updates whenever a score is made, though it’s only for aesthetic purposes.
