Donkey Kong’s personal weapon, the Coconut Gun (it fires in spurts), really just looks like a hollowed log with a branch for grip and a twig at the top serving as its crosshairs. Donkey Kong however doesn’t start with this weapon and it must be purchased from Funky Kong’s shop before he can use it to fire coconuts at balloons and switches.
Item Usage[]
In Smash, the Coconut Gun is a hard hitting weapon that fires coconuts (in spurts) as projectiles. Each tap of the attack button will fire one coconut that flies out from the barrel. The coconuts aren’t necessarily slow, but they aren’t as fast as a shot from the Super Scope either. If you choose to stand in place you can hold down the attack button briefly to angle the shot of the Coconut Gun however if you’re running around or in mid-air it will only fire straight ahead.
