Clamperl is the deep sea Pokemon that somehow evolves into Huntail or Gorebyss from its infantile bivalve form. It makes its home on the seafloor, clamping down on prey with its shell, which it also uses for protection. Its pearls are said to amplify its psychic power.
Attack Description[]
Clamperl will sit where it was summoned, opening its shell every so often and happily muttering its name while it's at it. You'll freak it out if you get too close, and it'll clamp right down on you! Clamperl has an iron grip, making it difficult to escape from the confines of its shell as more damage continually racks up per second. Eventually, Clamperl will spit you out of its own accord, dishing out more damage and decent knockback from this grapple-type finisher. While in its shell, it is impenetrable, though well-timed hits to it while it shows itself might see it go flying and leaving a stat-boosting pearl or two in its wake.
