Chuckie Finster is the deuteragonist of the Rugrats cartoon. He is the protagonist, Tommy Pickles', best friend, and the son of Chas Finster, a bureaucrat. Chuckie is frequently seen throughout Rugrats as a "scaredy cat", timid to the point of fear towards strangers and other characters that he deems frightening, such as Mr. Boppo.
The oldest of the babies, Chuckie is commonly the focus of growth-based episodes, and is even the first to be able to physically speak to the adults. Following the events of Rugrats in Paris!, Chas marries Kira. Her daughter from a previous marriage, Kimi, becomes Chuckie's legal sister after Chas adopts her and Kira adopts him. His most treasured posession is Wawa, a bear that his biological mother, Melinda, handmade for him before her death.
Mode of Assistance[]
When Chuckie appears on stage, he will begin to walk about, Wawa in-hand. However, once he catches whiff of a battle, he will freak out, beginning to run in the opposite direction of the fight. If he manages to be hit, or even so much as touched, by a fighter, he will step on his open shoelaces and trip, dropping Wawa. He will then begin to cry, run around with his arms in a flurry.
Every so often, he will fall back over and trip again. This time, though, it will cause considerable damage and knockback to opponents if he connects with them upon his fall. He may even temporarily ground them! His standard attack is the arm-flailing, however, as he runs about. It deals continuous damage so long as players are caught in it, similar to the Fan item.
If Boppo is on stage, he will cause Chuckie to scream and flail the opposite direction. If Chuckie has not dropped Wawa yet, he will now, this time of his own volition as he runs away in fear.
