A single-staged Pokemon that’s really just a spherical bit of rock with ears if you think about it. High temperatures and pressure underground help to form Carbinks over millions of years. In extremely rare cases, additional heat and pressure can transform a Carbink into the mythical Pokemon Diancie.
Attack Description[]
Using Rapid Spin, Carbink will spin rapidly in place and move about the platforms as if it were a Green Shell. Nobody has to pick it up to throw it or can stop it with an attack, but it acts like a Green Shell in terms of how it rolls around the stage. In addition to damaging opponents, Carbink has the additional effect of being able to destroy traps that are set on the stage if it rolls over them much like the Rapid Spin attack in the games can destroy traps like Stealth Rocks and Spikes. In Smash, these traps include the Gooey Bomb, Pitfall, Banana Peels, Podoboo Orb, Decidueye’s Grass Knot, and many more.
