2 years ago her father Dorian disappeared in the Crypt of the NecroDancer and against the wishes of her uncle, Cadence set off to follow him. However when Cadence made it inside the crypt the NecroDancer appeared before her and cursed her to follow the beat of his music when he stole her heart. Cadence was left with one choice, if she wished to find her father and lift the curse she would have to time all of her movements to the rhythm of the NecroDancer and proceed deeper into the crypt.
Mode of Assistance[]
Cadence is a rather complicated Assist Trophy. Armed with a dagger and a shovel she will jump, attack, and just generally move around in beat with whatever the music track is that is playing on the stage. Certain music tracks like Environmental Noises prevent Cadence from spawning. Depending on the beat Cadence might be a very effective Assist Trophy or completely awful. As an added bonus, any fighter that is able to time some of their own movements and attacks in time with the music will receive a small boost to the strength of their attacks so long as they can keep the beat.
