Buzz Buzz isn't just any rhino beetle, but one from the future! Landing in the not-too-distant past by the meteorite crash in Onett, he comes to warn Ness of Giygas' attack. None other than Porky Minch's mother, Lardna, dispatches of the PSI-sensitive insect, mistaking him for an average dung beetle. Before his passing, he foretells of Ness' journey to the boy, thus setting him off on a grand adventure.
Mode of Assistance[]
Buzz Buzz immediately gets to work, summoning a PSI Shield around his summoner as he buzzes to and fro, surrounding them. The shield is capable of deflecting most attacks, but is flimsy. As soon as Buzz Buzz came onto the stage, so shall he go once a single hit blasts through his PSI. He will drop to the floor, seemingly fatally hurt, before disappearing. However, his sacrifice was not in vain, given that he was able to assist his summoner in this one special way before being taken care of. If he strives and the shield remains active throughout his entirety on the stage, he will happily buzz up and down, almost like a celebratory jump, before he flies off. During this animation, though, a keen foe can still knock him down. Don't celebrate too soon!
