Enemy Info[]
Jin Sakai can identify a Brute Warrior by their hulking size alone. These formidable fighters stand at about Ganondorf's height and Bowser's width, and their tank-like build comes with the features you'd expect; they are difficult to break through, and will often rain their weapons down even as the Ghost attacks. Brutes comprise a vital part of Khotun Khan's army, though you might also find bandits that would fit the description during your travels. They'll normally wield heavy, bludgeoning weapons: the fire lance, mace, tower shield, and twin blades.
Fight Pattern[]
The Brute Warrior's fight pattern is determined by the weapon that they wield. Those with a fire lance will tend to linger several feet away from the immediate action, stuffing their weapon and preparing to fire it. Those wielding the mace, tower shield, or twin blades, however, will begin to pace towards their foes as soon as they come into their line of sight, walking forward and back in defensive fashion while fighting. Each Brute Warrior maintains several frames of super armor while attacking.
Attacks[]
Fire Lance[]
The Brute Warrior launches the ammo inside of their fire lance, and a flaming ball hurls up to five Kirbys forward before burning away on the ground. The closer that one is to the fireball, the more damage and knockback they'll receive from the Cracker Launcher-esque weapon. Brute Warriors are also able to swing their fire lances at foes who get too close.
Mace[]
The Brute Warrior mashes down their mighty mace, potentially grounding opponents and dishing out heavy damage while they're at it.
Tower Shield[]
The Brute Warrior charges forward with their tower shield, ramming into opponents with a nearly impenetrable march.
Twin Blades[]
The Brute Warrior moves more quickly with these lighter weapons, slicing and dicing at their foes with quick confidence.
