Bruno is a Fighting-type specialist and serves as a member of the Elite Four for both the Kanto and Johto regions. Bruno’s signature Pokemon is his Machamp and though he’s a master of Fighting-types he’s also known to use a few Rock and Ground-type Pokemon as part of his teams. Bruno has been regularly found training in the Sevii Islands with his team and enjoys using the Ember Spa to rehab the injuries that both he and his Pokemon sustain. It’s rumored that Bruno has a real sweettooth for RageCandyBars and once left a store in a sour mood when he learned that they were sold out.
Spirit Battle[]
Bruno will be represented by Ryu whose punches and kicks will get an attack boost. During this Spirit Battle Poke Ball Pokemon will spawn, one at a time, to fight for Ryu against the player. While most of these Poke Balls will contain Fighting-type Pokemon such as Hitmonlee and Sirfetch’d, some non-Fighting-type Pokemon can appear which use Fighting-type moves such as Slaking and Keldeo. The only Pokemon that can appear under Ryu’s control that doesn’t follow either of these two rules is Onix. Regular Poke Ball items will also spawn for the player to use against Bruno. Bruno and the player will both have 150 HP for this Stamina battle.
