Known as a land of haberdashed dreams, Bonneton is thus far the only known location in the Cap Kingdom. It has a rather gloomy appearance with thick fog and monochromatic features. It’s inhabitants are known as Bonnetons who bear a similar appearance to Boos but seem to be wearing hats. They also have the ability to possess hats and non-hat wearing creatures. Bonneton’s most prominent feature is the Top-Hat Tower and a top it lies a spark pylon that leads to the nearby Fossil Falls of the Cascade Kingdom.

This stage is primarily fought atop Top-Hat Tower. There’s the top of the hat for players to fight on as well as its brim below. The sides of the hat itself are solid because its a tower and that just makes sense. Additionally, near the bottom of the stage there are the tops of two other hat towers that can be fought on top of. The gray lines in the attached image represent the thick fog that is found common in Bonneton. The fog doesn’t do anything detrimental to the players but it does make it quite hard to see beneath it. Every match begins with the fog at the #2 mark and at random points in the battle the fog can move from one level to the next. The fog can only more one level at a time no more often than every 20 seconds. There is nothing stopping from someone fighting below the fog but they will have a tough time seeing where they or anything else are.
