Assist Trophy Info[]
During Tingle's adventures in Rupeeland, he is joined by a collective of bodyguards who can assist him in fights. Each bodyguard comes with their own set of traits that will serve Tingle in battle in a variety of ways. They are divided by weight class, with each packing a unique punch. And where does Tingle meet most of them? At the Bodyguard Salon, of course!
Mode of Assistance[]
A whistle sounds, and a bodyguard is summoned from a poof of smoke. The bodyguard is one of four sizes, ranging from small to drifter. Small bodyguards are fast but weak, and drifter bodyguards hit hard but are rather slow. The bodyguard will take a nearby opponent into a fight cloud to pummel them.
Passive bodyguards walk a few steps forward and back before disappearing. Assertive bodyguards walk much further and faster before doing the same. They deal the same damage but are faster and move further. From small to drifter size, passive bodyguards include Kakashi, Zuzu, Chuckles, Generalissimo, Lion, and Teddy Todo; assertive bodyguards include Buriki, Cano, Mike, Mighty Muscles, and Yamori.
Small bodyguards deal a small amount of damage, medium bodyguards deal middling damage, large bodyguards deal heavy damage, and drifter bodyguards deal the most damage. There is a random percentage chance on their size, with larger bodyguards becoming likelier the more damage the summoner has.
The summoner can join their bodyguards in the cloud to deal 1.5x as much damage as the attack normally would deal, but the tradeoff is that they will be dealt the normal amount of damage in return. So Yamori and Tingle dishing a blow together could dish out up to 45% damage to a foe, but Tingle would receive 30% damage himself as a tradeoff.
