Item Info[]
Blupees are mysterious, rabbit-like creatures found in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They're naturally skittish, and will flee from Wild Link if he gets too close to them. Give 'em a whack, and they'll let a rupee loose! Some believe that the Blupees created all of the Rupees in Hyrule, though this is just a rumor. They're heavily associated with the Lord of the Mountain—handfuls of them will appear at a time in his presence.
Item Usage[]
When a Blupee appears on the stage, it will gently hop left and right. If a fighter draws too near, though, it'll start to flee in the opposite direction! If the Blupee is hit, it'll leave a trail of coins in its wake in the appropriate mode. Otherwise, there's a fair chance that it will drop a rare item. Unlike in Breath of the Wild, the Blupee is capable of being knocked off the stage; this tends to happen after three good, heavy hits—which, hopefully for the fighters, will drop three good, heavy-hitting items before it's time to say goodbye to their pal, Blupee.
