Blarrrrgggg!!! - That's the colloquial call of this heralded creature, hence the name. These massive foes present obstacles to Mario and Yoshi alike, though are more known for their role in games starring our dino pal. Most of the time, these guys live in lava, though blue, water-bound Blarggs called Nep-Enuts also exist just beneath the lake's surface. This Blargg is of the lava-based variety, and looks as it does in Yoshi's Island.
Fight Pattern[]
As a fighter approaches the Blargg's location, it will ceremoniously make itself known, leaping several feet upwards and remaining stationary in the lava. Edge a little closer, and the Blargg will propel itself forward. Its only mode of attack is this primordial slam, endowing opponents with flames and decent knockback should they be hit. Once the Blargg reaches the end of its arc, it will dissipate back from whence it came, reappearing moments later once the fighter is back within range to summon its presence. Blarggs can rarely be beaten, given their fiery properties and quick pace, so fighters will have to do their best to treat them as obstacles and evade them. Blarggs come in a variety of sizes, but can grow to roughly the size of Giga Bowser at their height.
