Commonly found in rivers and streams, the black bass is a recurring sight throughout the entire Animal Crossing series. Despite its name, the fish is more a darker shade of green. If you catch a bass, all you'll need is a drummer and you can form a band!
Item Usage[]
The black bass will immediately begin flopping around the stage like nobody's business but can be easily picked up all the same. Use the flopping fish to batter your foes! Like the Fan before it, the black bass can be used to repeatedly smack opponents without remorse. Repeatedly pressing the standard attack button will have your fighter catch their enemies in a fish-flavored trap, almost floating around the stage as they continuously engage their foe in 1%-2% flinch-centric damage. Eventually, you will fall ahead of your foe and they will be free of your repeated jabs, but the fun is there while it lasts. You can also use the fish for stronger attacks, like side attacks, Smash attacks, and aerials. Talk about one versatile bass!
