Enemy Info[]
Contrary to popular belief, Big Primids are not the result of dark magics or sciences like what created the Fire Primids and Metal Primids. The origins of Big Primids is in truth far simpler. They are merely regular Primids that grew in age and experience until they increased in size. One could call them elders of the Primid race, however considering the Primids have little in terms of community and serve as mere footsoldiers for the Subspace Emissary this doesn’t mean much.
Fight Pattern[]
Big Primids are quite simply bigger than your average Primid! This size serves to bolster the strength of their physical attacks and gives them a much larger amount of health. Like Metal Primids, Big Primids are slower and have minor resistance to being flinched but it is certainly not to the same degree as the Metal Primids. Big Primids are rarely seen in groups and will typically either appear in pairs, or with 2-3 smaller enemies such as Autolances or Buckots.
Attacks[]
Big Rapid Punch[]
Big Primids can unleash a series of rapid punches as they stand in place similar to Kirby’s neutral attack. Even if they miss, they’ll be locked into this attack as they punch 11 times in a row giving the player ample time to either run or attack from behind. Be careful though as if you get hit by this attack you’ll end up trapped in it taking the full force of the remaining punches.
Big Triple Combo[]
With a punch, kick, and a push Big Primids can unleash a triple combo of melee hits similar to Mario’s jab combo. Each hit comes out slowly with the first two dealing no knockback allowing the third to connect and knock opponents back away.
Big Faceplant[]
Big Primids will run forward before tripping over their own feet and face planting into the ground similar to King Dedede’s dash attack. This move does a fairly average amount of damage and knockback.
Big Smash Punch[]
This attack is essentially the equivalent to a smash attack for Big Primids. Big Primids will start winding up a fist for a couple seconds before throwing a powerful punch forwards. This is Big Primids’s strongest attack, however with the windup being as long as it is it’s pretty easy for players to get away in time.
Big Spear Jump[]
If a Big Primid crouches down for a second, they might just be about to use this attack! Once it begins the Big Primid will leap up high and spin through the air at an angle as they try to land near where the player was. It’s not much, but the hits while spinning can deal a small amount of damage and knockback to players who try to meet them in the air.
Big Foot Plant[]
While Big Primid jumps through the air they are capable of using this attack. When they do they’ll end up trying to stomp down on a player’s head from above to knock them down into the stage.
Big Front Kick[]
While Big Primid jumps through the air they are capable of using this attack. This attack sees them jut out their foot with a kick similar in nature to Mario’s neutral aerial.
Big Acrobatic Stomp[]
If a Big Primid has somehow managed to knock a player down on the stage they’ll initiate this attack. The Big Primid will jump at the player and attempt to stomp down onto them dealing additional damage and knockback. Following this the Big Primid will perform a backflips and strike a pose as if to both celebrate the attack and to back up before the player can counterattack. The Big Primid will perform this flip even if they missed the attack.
