Stage Info[]
A planet where 99% of the surface is covered by water. Big Blue features a few different race tracks for the F-Zero Grand Prix. While at first the planet was fairly bare featuring just a wide open sea and a few scattered buildings in addition to the F-Zero tracks, overtime Big Blue became a lot more industrialized with more buildings being built including hotels for tourists and F-Zero racers to stay in. To help make sure things don’t get too out of control, the planet was kept strictly protected by the nature conservation group. Though there have been rumors of a new energy source lying at the bottom of Big Blue’s seabird no discoveries have been made yet.
Stage Layout[]
This stage starts out with the players fighting on top of Captain Falcon’s personal ship, the Falcon Flyer. Below the Falcon Flyer lies the F-Zero track on the planet Big Blue with several racing F-Zero Machines going down the track. Shortly after the match starts the Falcon Flyer will pull away and fly off the top of the screen leaving the fighters to fight on top of the various F-Zero Machines.
Stage Hazards[]
F-Zero Race:[]
This stage is a race in progress so ships will come and go as the race goes on. This means that the exact platforms will be in constant shift as the fighters battle it out and the exact layout of the stage is always in flux. While there is a racetrack, touching it can be deadly as the F-Zero Machines are moving at such a fast pace that if you stand on the racetrack for even a millisecond too long you might get pulled past the blast zones and be left behind on the track resulting in a KO. Items that persist in a certain point on the stage such as the Flipper will be left behind by the race as well making them completely ineffective. Additionally, fighters can be damaged by the F-Zero Machines if they happen to be caught in front of them. Occasionally the racetrack will seem to disappear as the race goes on making the stage almost like a midair stage. Eventually the race will circle back around to the beginning as the Falcon Flyer makes it return and can be used as a platform again until it flies off and the cycle continues.
