Big Battlefield was introduced in Super Smash Bros. 4 as a larger version of the traditional Battlefield stage and was one of the stages used to show off the new 8 Player Smash mode with up to 8 different players fighting on the stage at a time as opposed to just 4. Smash Bros Ultimate would later introduce a smaller variant of Battlefield called Small Battlefield as free DLC.
Stage Layout[]
Big Battlefield is as its name would suggest, a bigger version of Battlefield. Not only is the main platform considerably longer, but there are now six smaller platforms floating above the main platform in a pyramid formation compared to regular Battlefield’s three platforms in a triangle formation.
