Beyond Overcooked is a robot that was formerly a culinary robot in service to Penacony. However, due to emotional interference in Penacony’s Dreamscape, Beyond Overcooked went out of control and started using its fire breath to turn diners into barbecue instead of grilling ingredients.
Fight Pattern[]
Beyond Overcooked is a large and heavy enemy which is capable of dealing high damage with its attacks while also boasting a larger HP pool and a resistance to most forms of damage. Only Fire, Lightning, and Wind-based attacks will inflict normal damage to Beyond Overcooked. Beyond Overcooked is slow and doesn’t chase fighters far, but it is usually accompanied by 1-3 smaller enemies which serve as its support.
Attacks[]
Ladle Swirl[]
Beyond Overcooked will quickly slam its head forwards as it seeks to bash an enemy fighter head-on (literally). If this attack connects the fighter will take a large amount of damage and be knocked downwards and if they hit a platform they will likely bounce off of it and up into the air.
Tornado Toss[]
With a bit of wind-up, Beyond Overcooked will lash out forwards with a meaty tail swipe which can be used to hit fighters who are a bit farther away, especially in the air. This attack deals a bit less damage than Ladle Swirl and will launch fighters back horizontally.
Ignite Stove[]
After Beyond Overcooked has lost a quarter of its health it will start to use this technique from time to time. Ignite Stove will start out with Beyond Overcooked raising its head up and firing a small stream of flames out of its mouth. These flames deal a small amount of damage as Beyond Overcooked begins to charge up its fire and if it succeeds it will use its strongest attacks, Flaming Stir-Fry.
Fighters have a chance to stop Beyond Overcooked though by inflicting enough damage to it before it can let loose its flames. Fire-based attacks are the most effective at this as the goal is to essentially cause Beyond Overcooked to overheat. If Beyond Overcooked takes enough damage a “Kitchen Mishap” will occur where Beyond Overcook’s flames will backfire as a small explosion occurs around Beyond Overcooked inflicting fire damage to everything and everyone around it including fighters, other enemies, and even Beyond Overcooked itself. Additionally, if a Kitchen Mishap occurs Beyond Overcooked will be inflicted with a permanent debuff causing it to take double damage from all attacks.
Flaming Stir-Fry[]
Flaming Stir-Fry is Beyond Overcooked’s ultimate attack and can only be used if it is able to successfully charge up enough energy after using Ignite Stove. Once the energy has been charged up, Beyond Overcooked will let out a mechanical roar before breathing out a massive gout of flames from its mouth. These flames can stretch as far as Battlefield and can inflict more hits of high amounts of damage making this one of the single most powerful attacks amongst all Enemies. This is all balanced out by the fact that it’s relatively easy to stop Beyond Overcooked from being able to utilize this attack by inflicting enough damage to trigger a Kitchen Mishap first.
