Stage Info[]
Beat Saber is a VR rhythm game where a player will wear a VR headset and slash at various blocks that are flying at them with glowing sabers. These note blocks appear in tune with the beat of whatever song is playing. Most of these blocks have arrows on them which indicate what direction the saber needs to be swung in order to break the block. Other obstacles exist in the game as well such as translucent walls of pulsating red energy which sap the health of the player if their head is in the field. The game originally launched with only 10 songs in it, but later received DLC packs which included songs from bands such as Imagine Dragon, Green Day, and Lady Gaga.
Stage Layout[]
Beat Saber has a very basic layout and is essentially just a Final Destination-sized Battlefield. There are no other platforms besides the standard Battlefield-esque ones.
Hazards[]
Note Blocks[]
Red and blue note blocks will sometimes fly in from any direction on the stage and towards any direction. While these blocks won’t always appear, when they do appear it will always be in time with whatever music is playing on the stage. These blocks are small and can fly through the stage itself. These blocks will deal a small amount of damage and knockback to anything they hit. However if these blocks are hit by an attack that goes in the same direction of the arrow on the block, then the block will instead explode with a medium aoe. This explosion won’t harm the player that attacked the block.
Walls[]
Rarely, walls of red electrical energy will fly through the stage. These walls will pass through anything on the stage, even fighters, and cannot be influenced like the note blocks can. Any fighters who are in the walls will take hits of damage when first entering the wall and for every second that they remain inside of it.
