Bastiodon is the fully evolved form of Shieldon, an extinct Pokemon who can be brought back to life using an Armor Fossil. Bastiodons have a massive shield for a face which is said to be stronger than steel and capable of repelling any frontal attack. Bastiodons are normally docile Pokemon who prefer to put up a strong defense as opposed to mounting any offense. When their young are threatened, Bastiodons will form a wall together with their faces to prevent foes from being able to get behind them.
Attack Description[]
Upon its summoning, Bastiodon’s face will shine with a silver gleam as it activates the move Iron Defense. Bastiodon will then slowly walk forward until either his time has come or he reaches the edge of a platform. Bastiodon does not inflict any damage, but it does push anything in its path forward be it item or fighter. If Bastiodon reaches the end of a platform it will stand in place until the time comes for it to vanish. When at the edge of a platform, Bastiodon removes the grabable edge from that platform (if there was one) and has no grabable edge on his face. This makes Bastiodon a very powerful edgehogging tool that can prevent fighters from being able to recover back up to the stage.
