Assist Trophy Info[]
A large polar bear and member of the Snowmads, Bashmaster is the boss of the Juicy Jungle. He doesn't seem to be the most aware of Snowmads as the arrival of the Kongs caught him off guard and led to him accidentally dropping his popsicle into the water. It's the loss of this popsicle that enrages Bashmaster and prompts him to begin fighting the Kongs.
Mode of Assistance[]
Much like Dark Samus in Smash 4, Bashmaster as an Assist Trophy has multiple different attacks he can hit the stage with. Bashmaster will run around on the stage with speed and jumping capabilities roughly equivalent to that of Bowser. When it comes to his attacks he has three that he'll use depending on the stage and circumstances. The first of these attacks is a series of melee swings of his hammer which tends to end with him slamming the spiked end down into the stage where it will momentarily get stuck. Bashmaster's second attack involved him taking a flying leap up off the stage before crashing back down at another point. Ice spikes will then stick up from the platform that he landed on and roll along it's side like a shockwave until the ice reaches the end of the platform and fades away. Bashmaster's final attack is to stomp in front of him and create a small block of ice to appear which he'll then hit with his hammer and turn it into a spiraling spiked ball of ice that hurtles forwards. These spiked ice balls can break through objects as they travel quickly across the screen but once they make impact with a player or stage element they will break. After his time on the stage is over Bashmaster will heft his hammer over his shoulder and disappear but like other Assist Trophies he can be attacked and sent away faster with his weakness being fire attacks and explosives.
