Like any other barrel, they’re commonly used for storage be it grain, bananas, or monkeys! But exactly is inside of yours? I guess you’ll have to take that crowbar of yours and open it up yourself!
Item Usage[]
Barrels are very similar to Crates in Smash. They can be thrown or attacked and will drop items once they are broken. There’s no such thing as a wheeled Barrel, however some are filled with explosives so be careful when attacking them. If a Barrel is thrown, instead of just hitting something and breaking they’ll instead roll down the platforms until they hit an opponent or solid obstacle. Depending on the stage, Barrels can either have their traditional wooden appear, look like a birthday present, or a futuristic steel barrel.
